SEBASTIAN VAN DYCK

20+ years of training experience. I've competed in powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and triathlons. I know what it takes to train for performance because I've done it — and I'm still doing it.

Before any of the degrees, I spent 4 years jumping out of helicopters as a Navy Aviation Rescue Swimmer. You learn a lot about yourself when the ocean is trying to kill you. Mostly that quitting isn't an option — in the water or in the gym.

I hold a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Southern Maine and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont. After graduating, I spent years as a travel PT working coast to coast across 10+ states — from rural Maine to Southern California — treating everything from post-surgical rehab to complex neurological conditions.

VDT is where all of it comes together — two decades of training, clinical expertise, and competitive experience — built into programs that are grounded in science and tested in the real world.

Built for dads in their 30s and 40s who already know how to train. Front Squat, Back Squat, Sumo Deadlift, Bench Press — rotated through 10-day blocks. Volume drops, intensity climbs, and by Week 24 you're working to 100%+ for new PRs.

A full year of progressive programming that takes you from your living room to the gym floor. Start with bodyweight and dumbbells at home, graduate to cables and machines, then master the barbell. You'll finish the year ready for EDA.
